Gabe Necula

Gabe Necula is currently a senior research associate at the Illinois Economic Development Corporation. Gabe is a graduate of Michigan State University with a B.A. in Economics and minors in Quantitative Data Analytics & Political Economy.

Before joining Illinois EDC, Gabe honed his skills as an analyst with the State Economic Competitiveness team at Louisiana Economic Development. This role equipped him with a deep understanding of economic dynamics and the influence of strategic development policies.

Gabe remains actively engaged with economic development efforts, assisting Illinois’ internal and external partners with labor market research and lead generation efforts. His dedication to applying rigorous analysis and innovative approaches continues to drive his efforts in supporting the state’s growth and competitiveness.
