Luis Tejerina

Luis Tejerina is CEO of the Skyway Concession Company LLC (Chicago Skyway) where he oversees all aspects of the Chicago Skyway’s operations. Luis brings more than two decades of experience in transportation infrastructure to the Chicago Skyway, most recently serving as CEO of I-66 Express Mobility Partners in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Prior to joining the Skyway, Tejerina served in a series of executive roles with I-66 Express Mobility Partners, where he led the successful operation and transformation of the $3.6 billion Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project. His work encompassed strategic planning, regulatory compliance, customer care, tolling operations, and infrastructure maintenance. He also held senior roles at Cintra, a Ferrovial Company, where he was key in developing public-private partnerships across North America.

Mr. Tejerina holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He will officially join the Chicago Skyway on May 1.
