Tim Liston is EY’s US Civic Strategy & Engagement Lead working with civic and business leaders in the largest US markets to drive meaningful public-private partnerships and civic engagement across the firm. He spent two years each as EY’s Market Strategy & Operations Leader – Great Lakes and Corporate Responsibility Leader – US Central Region. Before joining EY, Tim held senior leadership roles at Big Shoulders Fund, Navy Pier, and Old St. Patrick’s Church; he started his career at WXRT 93.1FM. Throughout his career he has focused on executive stakeholder engagement, revenue growth, and social impact.

Tim brings deep board leadership and advisory experience, with current experience serving as a board member on Corporate Coalition of Chicago’s Leadership Council and the Civic Federation’s Council of Advocates, he’s an at-large member of Social Responsibility of Chicago(where he formerly served as Treasurer on their Board of Directors), an active member of the Civic Consulting Alliance, an active mentor in Loyola University’s Baumhart Center, and a founding member of the Navy Pier Associate Board.

A lifelong and proud Chicagoan, Tim lives in Chicago’s Norwood Park neighborhood with his wife and three children. He is a graduate of Marquette University, where he double-majored in Broadcasting & Journalism and is currently set to graduate from Loyola University’s Master of Public Policy certification through their Professional Studies program. He grew up on Chicago’s southside in Mt. Greenwood, where he attended Br. Rice High School. In his free time, he loves visiting Chicago’s restaurants and local music venues.
